Welcome to the Irish Building & Design Awards 2016.

The winners of the 2016 Irish Building and Design Awards were announced recently at a black tie ceremony held in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin.

Organised and hosted by Ireland's leading event organisers, CMG, feedback from those in attendance suggests the night was the best to date and thoroughly enjoyed by all. You can click here to see the winners.

More than 500 people from the world of Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Design attended the biggest annual awards ceremony in the industry, to enjoy the wonderful social occasion, to recognise and acknowledge the best in Ireland's Building & Design projects over the last 12 months and to enjoy the unique networking opportunities the night offers.
The 2016 judging panel consisted of some of the leading professionals in their fields, and they worked tirelessly to review what turned out to be the largest number of applications received by the event since it started six years ago. The judges reviewed all applications and made their difficult decisions based on the evidence supplied. Click here to see the full panel of judges.
The ceremony opened with a video showcasing some of the best Irish Building and Design Projects this year, and the event was then introduced by Marty Whelan, arguably Ireland’s favourite broadcaster, who was also the MC for the evening. After a wonderful dinner, the awards presentations started, with the winners invited to the stage by Marty to chat briefly about their projects, and about winning such a prestigious award. Judging by the smiles and chatter, networking and overall positivity, the night was a tremendous success.
